Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

What Doin Coaching ("we", "us", "our") provides online coaching and nutrition services through this website (whatdoincoaching.com and challenge.whatdoincoaching.com), and through the WDC Fast Food mobile app. This policy explains what information each of those surfaces collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and how to reach us with questions or requests.

This policy covers two distinct things that work very differently, and we have tried to keep that distinction clear rather than write one policy that quietly blurs them together:

  • the website and challenge funnel, which collects contact details you type into a form so we can follow up with you, and
  • the WDC Fast Food app, which is built to keep your tracking data on your own device and collects nothing about you by default.

Website & Challenge Funnel

Our marketing site, the challenge signup page, and the members portal (for participants enrolled in an active challenge) are all part of the same web product. Here is what happens when you use them:

What we collect

When you submit a lead form, a challenge signup form, or the onboarding flow, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and any goals or answers you enter on the form. If you are enrolled in a challenge and use the members portal, we also store the daily weight, habit check-ins, and weekly check-in photos you choose to log, plus any coach notes marked visible to you. If you arrive via a referral link (for example an affiliate or partner "/r/" link), we set a cookie recording which referral source sent you, so we can attribute the signup correctly. That cookie does not identify you personally on its own; it stores a referral code, not tracking data about your browsing.

We do not use ad networks, third-party advertising pixels, or cross-site ad tracking anywhere on the website or challenge funnel.

How we use it

Contact details from a lead or signup form are used to follow up with you about coaching, the current challenge, or a booking you requested. We send ourselves a one-time email notification (via Resend) so the coaching team sees new signups promptly. Portal data (weight, habits, photos, notes) is used only to run the coaching program you are enrolled in, and check-in photos and private coach notes are never shown to other participants.

Storage & retention

Form submissions and portal data are stored in our Neon Postgres database. Check-in photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We keep this information for as long as it is useful for running the coaching relationship or challenge, and delete or de-identify it on request (see Your Rights below).

WDC Fast Food App

WDC Fast Food is a fast-food macro tracker built to work without an account. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sync.

Data Not Collected

By default, the app does not collect any personal data. Every meal you log, your streak, your daily goal, and your saved meals are stored only in the app's local storage on your own device. None of that tracking data is sent to us, to any analytics provider, or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is gone. Reminders in this version of the app (v1.0) are scheduled locally on your device; no push token or notification data ever leaves your phone.

The one exception: if you choose to give us your email

Some in-app rewards (like the fast-food macro cheat sheet, or booking a free coaching review call) offer you the option to send us your email address, entirely voluntarily, so we can send you the cheat sheet or a recap, or so a coach can follow up about a call you asked for. If you choose to submit an email address this way, it is sent to our server and stored in the same lead system described above; it is never stored on your device beyond the moment you submit it. If you don't submit an email, we never see one.

What changes in future app versions

A later version of the app may add optional features such as remote push notifications, a home screen widget, or basic usage analytics (for example, which screens are used, not who you are). If that happens, this policy and the app's App Store privacy label will be updated first, and any such data will be tied to an anonymous device identifier rather than your identity. We will never quietly start collecting more than this policy says.

Third Parties We Use

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the website, portal, and app backend. None of them are ad networks, and none of them receive your data for any purpose other than providing the service listed:

  • Neon — hosts our Postgres database (leads, challenge signups, portal data).
  • Resend — delivers transactional emails: owner notifications for new signups, sign-in codes, and any recap or cheat-sheet emails you request.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and its backend functions.
  • Cloudflare R2 — stores uploaded images (challenge check-in photos, site media).

Your Rights & Contact

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from communications. Because the app stores your tracking data only on your device, deleting the app is itself a complete deletion on our end; there is no server-side copy of your meal logs to remove.

For any privacy question or request, email Byran@whatdoincoaching.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site, portal, or app change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision, and any change that affects what the app collects will also be reflected in its App Store privacy label before it ships.
